EMA Falls in Sectionals
(San Dimas) – El Monte American saw a six run lead evaporate and fell to La Puente National 9-7 Monday night knocking the District 18 champions out of the Little League sectionals.

  
  EMA led 7-1 heading into the bottom of the fifth inning but LP came up with five in the fifth and three more in the sixth to pull out the victory. Adon Ocegueda doubled in two runs and Christian Maldonado ripped a three run home run to highlight the five run fifth and cut the EMA lead to 7-6.
 
  In the sixth, Ocegueda delivered again as he pounded a two run shot over the right field fence.
 
  Ryan Ocampo also went yard for La Puente hammering a first inning blast to right field.
