At Monrovia High on Monday it looked like a bunch of guys having fun instead of sweating out an August practice. But in between all the laughs there was plenty of hard hitting and head knocking going on.
“I’m excited. We’re all pumped,” said Monrovia Coach Ryan Maddox. “It’s the first day in pads. You can’t ask for more than that.”
Monrovia has a zero week game at Arcadia on September 5 and slowly but surely the pieces are coming together.
